Nature House®
offers a unique combination of quality, ingenuity and
affordability.
A Nature House® home is designed
to provide everything you would expect from a high quality
custom built home with the additional bonus of high
energy efficiency and minimal construction time!
Nature House® is a series of
plans that can be customized to suit any locale, budget
or individual design need. The Nature House® shell
is a new, innovative and environmentally friendly housing
system.
The structural shell (exterior walls
and roof) of the Nature House® consists of SIPs.
Each package is structurally engineered for your wind,
snow and seismic requirements. The finished panel home is
much stronger and more stable than conventional stick
framing or steel stud construction.
Nature House® plans offer many
size and style options, from small vacation cottages
to large custom homes. The exterior can be finished
with lap siding, stucco or any exterior finish of your
choosing. Our designs are flexible and allow for various
interior floor plans.
Nature House® conserves energy
and natural resources. The structural shell uses up
to 60% less lumber than a traditional stick framed structure.
The oriented strand board is produced
from second growth timber, typically 10 year old poplar
and aspen, rather than old growth lumber.
The pre-fabricated wall and roof panels
can be assembled by two people in a matter of days.
No cutting is required. All parts are included and there
are no leftovers to dispose of. Minimal framing expertise
is required for package assembly. The speed of assembly
virtually eliminates problems with theft and weather.
A Nature House® offers
high insulation values at a reasonable cost. These houses
are airtight with minimal infiltration, using up to
50% less energy for heating and cooling than traditional
stick frame construction. The Nature House® package
also utilizes high performance dual glazed vinyl windows
for additional enery savings.
